To be honest, SOMA Apparel was founded partly out of frustration, and partly out of inspiration. Inspired by many of the minimal designs out there, and frustrated by the lack of these designs on t-shirts. I've never really liked the typical graphic t-shirt. The artwork may look great on its own, or on a stand alone t-shirt, but it's a bit too busy when combined with an entire outfit. 

So I essentially set out to create designs that I could wear myself, whether lounging around the house, or combined with a cardigan or jacket that would work in any environment. 

having worked on other brands where the brands lacked imagination. Always having my hands tied
